The SecureScan™ 2000 is a concealed weapons detector (CWD). SecureScan™ 2000 is a walk-through detector which uses advanced magnetics technology to accurately pinpoint the location, size and
number of concealed weapons, such as knives and guns. Personal artifacts such as coins, keys or belt buckles will not set off the alarm.
This system promotes smooth traffic flow because it only detects the
types of metals commonly found in guns and knives. False alarms are greatly reduced and alarm resolution is easier without using hand wands or resorting to personal search.
Secure scan™ 2000 can either be installed as a stand-alone unit, or permanently into the entrance of a building. Because the system can be remotely operated, it reduces the number of security personnel needed, which translates into substantial savings. If the system is permanently installed, it can be integrated with a closed circuit television system, two-way voice communication system, door interlock system and card-key access system for complete building security. The door interlock system will automatically lock the door of a secure entrance if a concealed weapon is detected by the SecureScan™ 2000 to prevent unauthorized entry.
