HIGH SECURITY THROUGHPUT

The Metor 300 EMD offers excellent discrimination of shoe shanks, belt buckles and other harmless items.  This reduces false or nuisance alarms and improves thoughput efficiency without compromising detection of weapons or other dangerous metal items.

PASSENGER PACING LIGHTS

Passengers tend to pay attention to the upper part of the metal detector when walking through it, so Metor 300 EMD has clearly marked traffic lights on the cross-piece to optimize traffic flow and further speed up throughput.

RANDOM ALARM FUNCTION

The Metor 300 EMD has a random alarm function that enables security personal to randomly pick passengers for an additional security check. This prevents people from “working” the system, and enables security personnel to carry out additional searches without being discriminatory.  The detector makes the choice for “Random” failures.

FLEXIBLE AND SIMPLE INSTALLATION

The Metor 300 EMD is easy to install in different locations. The display unit can be mounted on all four sides of the detector. This improves flexibility in the installation and when operating the unit. The alphanumerical display gives information on how to operate the unit, and also functions as a signal level indicator. The Metor 300 EMD offers exceptional immunity to interference and vibration, which makes it easy to install in difficult environments.  Several units can be installed in close proximity to each other and even bolted to the floor when a firm foundation is required.

REMOTE CONTROL UNIT

A specialized remote control unit enables copying of system settings to other units, making programming several metal detectors fast and easy.  The remote control unit can even locked inside the crosspiece for extra security against unauthorized use.  Coupled with password protection and code hopping encryption provides an extra measure of security as well.
