Adams HF-1 – Wearable “Glove” Metal Detector

The new HF-1 detector gloves offers the only hand-worn, glove style metal detector with the added protection of Kevlar.  This gives the wearer the added protection from infected hypodermic needles, knife and razorblade wounds, during pat-down procedures, but still retain the ability to search and detect for concealed weapons or contraband with the aid of a powerful metal detector. The HF-1 alerts the user to the presence of metal by means of a vibration against the operator’s wrist.  The HF-1 detector gloves are rugged and very durable, lightweight and comfortable to wear, and simple to use.  There are not adjustments necessary.  Just turn them on and start searching.  There are no visible wires.  Everything is self contained, including the 9V battery that powers the detector circuitry.  The HF-1 is available in either Passive Active (one glove has an active detector, the other glove does not), or Dual Active (both gloves have active detectors in them).

Adams MIT – World’s First ‘Wearable’ metal detector.

The “MIT” is the world’s very first metal detector that the operator wears on his hands instead of holds.  The MIT is designed for pat down searches.  Since the MIT can be worn on either hand, the operator can actually use two detectors at the same time, enabling them to efficiently and effective scan the subject.  When metal is detected the scanner will vibrate on the wearers wrist.  Since the vibration is activated on the wearer’s wrist, the subject cannot feel the alarm indicator, so only the user knows when and where metal has been detected.  This offers the operator a covert approach to pat-down procedures. The MIT also gives the operator’s fingers complete dexterity to feel for concealed objects that are of a non-metallic nature simultaneously.
MIT is fully automatic and requires no adjustments for use. It is powered by one standard 9 volt battery or optional NiCad re  chargeable battery. There are no visible wires, switches or buttons. Everything is housed in a machine washable, soft stretching neoprene (wet-suit) material. The operator just puts the MIT into the “on” mode and begins a pat-down search… It’s that simple!
